Two reasons. One I paid someone that owns a shop to do it on his lift and for him to do all the hard parts and guide us through it basically so we could get it done quickly.
Two I am still not 100% sure what i want to do fueling wise. I have a spare hanger in my office right now and i have been playing with the pumps and a fitting and cant find a way i am comfortable with. I will need to order more fittings and line and find a combo i do like.

Took the blower c6 to the track today on a drag radial. Didnt do terrible but not great either. When i switched to the radials apparently the diameter being off screws with the auto trans shift points. So when it was time to shift it would instead sit there and bang on the limiter for a little and then shift. No launch or anything didnt seem worth it to push the car when it was already not going to work correctly 300 feet out.
Overall it is just a stock motor/trans/converter base c6 with a v3 si/cam/longtubes on 93 no meth or e. Its making plenty of power for its setup just needs to be dialed in.

Well that did not go as planned.
Wastegate is at 19lbs right now so i need to dial that way back with a lighter spring. But when trying to at least get 19psi to work on the dyno we instantly ran into issues. It is almost like the clutch is slipping but it is doing it in such a weird way. Around 5700rpm it just lets go free revs to red line then will fall back down to 6k rpm and climb again to red line all without any noticable slow down in wheel speed. It will do it 4 gears in a row consistently if you try on the street.
Here is a pic of the log. White is wheel speed, red is boost, blue is rpm.
Here is what it made before slipping at what you can see the peak of 5600-5800 seems to be juding by them both having the same peak power. Keep in mind this is 19psi with almost no timing due to it being one of the first hits that were not super lean. AFR was around 11:0 i believe.
Here is a really short video. We didnt do enough pulls to get a real video.

I had the same thought so i threw some bigger dudes in the trunk but it didnt help. When driving on the street it tracks extremely straight when it spins like that which really makes me feel like its just the clutch.
Tonight or tomorrow morning i will be switching springs in the wastegate again to the 8psi spring and see if i can slowly feed in the boost or not. Even if i could get like 600whp of the setup for the rest of the summer and just enjoy it before fixing everything that would be great. If not eventually ill just send the clutch for a rebuild.

Mantic twin it was on the car when i bought it. Thought it was good enough to hold just wasnt true.
Lowered the boost today with a weaker spring ..holds slightly longer but then still rips away. Sad sad sad.
One of these days im sure i will get sick of it and just yank the motor. When it goes back in i will be redoing alot of stuff to make it cleaner. Also will clean the engine bay up ect all stuff i couldnt really do in the middle of winter.

Changing clutches suck. Especially if you're uncertain it will hold the power number you're after. Just throwing it out there, my single plate DFX held 1K rwhp in my Cobra. Given, that was on banzai dyno runs, but I was de-tuned at 780 rwhp, in daily driver duty, and the clutch never let go. It's actually still in the car.

Too much turbo torque... hard to compare it to most of the centri setups around here
