Default RPM B3 Cam

Who’s ran the B3 cam from RPM in there boosted z06’s? I know Fran said it was grinded for boost originally but worked good in NA set ups so they used it in both. Was just trying to get some opinions to leave it or swap it out to a custom specd cam while I have some changes done to the engine?
Would appricate any input.

If you like the driveability, keep it. They’ve made some great power on some of their boosted cars with that cam, but you could probably get away with something milder and still make good power.

How many times can you ask the same question? Plus if Fran said it is good, why listen to anyone else. Being an askhole is an easy way to be disliked and have shops and people want nothing to do with you .

I'm currently running it as I was originally building the car to be H/C/I, but we all know how that goes... The car makes solid power on a V3-Ti (820whp/720wtq) and drives decent, but when I build a new short block I'm going to be swapping in the BTR Wildcat cam (227/242 .637/.626 118+4) which has -1.5* overlap vs 22.5 and less overall lift which can help with valve guide/stem/spring wear. In researching cams, a good N/A cam will still make solid power once a blower is added to the mix, but you'll usually sacrifice some drive ability. I was looking to make the car drive better, while still keeping the boost where I want it (in the cylinder) instead of blowing out the exhaust valves. A lot of guys are going fast on boosted B3's, I guess it just comes down to what you're looking for the car to do.

That is also one of the reasons I wanted to switch to a different cam due to such a high lift. I’d like to get my valve train stabilized. I could go to a roller rocker and hope that will help with the valve guide wear also so I’m kinda up in the air. I had Pat G spec me out a cam that I can have made up and the lift is around .635
