My 3 year project has finally taken shape. With the help of my good friend Ray, I have been able to make one of my dreams come true and I'd like to share it with the forum. Many long hours, hot days, busted knuckles, and "let's drop the frame again" because of a pinched oil pickup tube o-ring, has resulted in this.. Enjoy:

416 LS3
2200R 3" pulley
IW 8" overdrive
Methanol
93 Octane
G1Pro Intake
LG 1 17/8th headers

Car made 888/784
80% Injector duty cycle w meth

It really is. It did wonders to my mid-range. The party starts at about 4K in this car and pulls extremely hard to around 6200. I wanted a low revving motor that made a decent amount of low end torque. A lot of that has to do with the runner length in the manifolds.

I also had James weld in bosses for direct port meth injection. Right now I have them plugged, but If I ever needed it, I could spray there too:

That thing is beautiful for sure! My shop just got an account with G1pro so I'm gonna look into it. My only concern is I'm not sure what it would do on my car. I'm making a good bit off power on a little blower and there really isn't a spot it doesn't pull like a freight train. From 3k-7k it's crazy. Factory intake and TB are doing pretty good so far I'm not sure what an intake like this would do for me. It's a 06 C6z P1 blower, the small blower revs hard af I'm also on ethanol and I still have meth because why not lol

Yeah that intake looks super nice. I don't know if you'd gain much to be honest, probably more of a case that it won't expode if you're running a lot of boost vs. the stock stuff gets iffy at some point, though that point is well past what most people will ever see

yeah a G1pro or similar is all I'd consider besides the stock stuff, I'm making 12/12.5psi so nothing the stock stuff can't hold, it'd be a shame to spend the money on a beautiful G1 unit and get minimal Gaines for a lot money. I guess that's my only concern, but damn it looks sick!

I'd stay where you are. For me, it was a matter of not wanting to do it twice. At the same time, I wanted direct port meth injection. Well, at least the option for it. I'll eventually put some trick flow 255s, 2" headers, bigger injectors and the 2.75 pulley. My boost should remain close to where it is with the 3" pulley...right around 18 psi.

I was never impressed with my G1P intake. Then again I had one of the first ones, so maybe they got better. Fit/finish/quality/reliability were all poor.

3"/8" on that blower should be 1000rwhp worth of air, so I would double check some stuff.

Jodi made well over 1000rwhp through a filter, on an automatic, with a 3"

Any solid 2.7 combo I've seen made well over 1100, mostly in the 1140-1180rwhp.

Different dyno's put down different numbers and as long as the car is running solid so be it, but I have to agree with you. I have never had a 2200R/X combo make less than 1000, those are more 2200HD numbers. Not knocking your build slow goat, just looking to make sure you're getting what you should from your build.

Do you have a dyno graph from your car? I just noticed mine goes by speed and stops the pull at 140 when I know you can hit 160 in 4th @7k. I'm kinda annoyed now because I'm running 11.5:1 with E and I haven't had such a good experience with the shop anyways so I might have someone else look at the tune.

I don't have one handy at the moment, and I'm not even talking about my car.

A 4th gear dyno pull should go well past 160mph. If it stopped at 140 then that is only 5700-5800rpm. Way short.

I didn't notice that, it makes sense then, but of course the next question is why?
