I cant across this on marketplace, and seems pretty cool alternative to a pillar pod. I already have the SLP single pod on the left of the cluster with my AFR gauge in it, i would just like to add 2 more for Fuel/Boost maybe e85 contect etc. My only questions is how much it reduces airflow on those 2 vents. I love my A/C so i dont want to loose too much flow.
Another thing i thought about was if that very cold air and hot hear would cause the gauges to condensate or fog on the lense. I dunno, maybe im over thinking it.
you will literally lose all airflow brother. I have an innovate ECB1 holesawed above the vent on the left of the steering wheel. Single gauge has afr, boost, fuel temp and ethanol content.
I even thought about making a couple v shaped baffles to wedge behind the gauges to direct the air around them.
I do have a question about that ECB1 while i have your attention though. Since i already have a Flex sensor for the car wired to pmc, can you just tap into that white line for the gauge to read content , or do you guys literally have 2 flex fuel sensors in your fuel supply line? seems redundant to me.
Sounds like I'll just sell my stand alone AFR and put a ECB1 in to simplify everything

Nope, tapped the flex fuel white wire as you stated. ECB-1 is nice, previous owner bought it adn my MAP sensor died, but got a replacement quick and wired it up, no problem. I added a weather pack at the end of the wire that comes into the engine bay for MAP sensor replacements though, it's hard wired all the way from the gauge (from what I saw) and that's kinda dumb.
I shouldn't say it'll block all your airflow, but it will block a significant amount and i was always not excited about super freezing my gauges with AC and super heating them with heat all the time? I also find its' kinda hard to look center console when driving? sorry, kinda a **** photo but you can see it there.

If you switch to a single din radio, you can fit 3 guages in the cubby with a little work.
Man, i love my DD, i dont think i could go without it having installed the entire system just last winter. I'm right on the cusp of a street car vs race car. This current build may be the tipping point
I had the vent setup, but later on ditched it in favor of just running DashLogic. The vents didn't allow much airflow and really didn't have a solid way to mount the pod.

Hey, thanks for chiming in. Its a really cool idea, but with the humidity and temps here in july/aug......i GOTTA have those vents LOL
i may have to go super Fast and Furious and do the Ole pillar pod like the old days. Never been a fan of the HUD, i have had it off since the day i bought the car, i literally just turn it on sometimes to make sure it still works.
the other option was the steering column bezel, but i cant get that damn mickey mouse comment out of my head after reading that thread hahah
Humidity will not be an issue, as running the AC removes the humidity (thus why your AC comes on automatically when using the defroster).
I would also assume temperature wouldn’t be an issue. Ambient temps in the car range as low as the temperature outside (during the winter), to 130+ during the summer.
I think your real debate is whether you wanna give up those 2 vents.
