Default Procharger Piping Problem

I am putting on the F-1A-94 Procharger Kit and ran into a snag. The coupler coming off the head unit is pinched between the lower radiator hose and the prospeed fan shroud. I have the radiator brackets pulled as far back on the slots as I can. Anyone ever run into this?

But you’re talking about the rubber coupling piece, correct? I can’t sandwich a hard pipe.

A hard pipe has to connect to that coupler and I can’t fit it in there if it’s squished.

I ran into a similar issue with the coolant crossover tee during my ECS 1500 install. I essentially bought more hose, a tee, and a coupler to re-route it under the pro speed fans.
The Dewitts/ prospeed combo didn't leave room to do much else.

Why don't you mount the valve somewhere else?

I had the same thing happen on my 2008 z06 with the F1X unit and my prospeed fans. I ended up using a coupler a hard pipe down to the hose elbow and trimmed the fan shroud slightly for it to fit. The race valve ended up going in the fog light area on the passenger side using a different mount and then I welded a procharger racevalve bung on the intake tube so I have two valves (one before and one after the intercooler).
