Default InstaBoost!

If you have a serpentine belt driving your supercharger you have belt slippage and probably more slippage than you think.
1994 -2000 I ran a Vortech S trim on a Mustang.
Anderson Ford in IL. offered a sweet smelling blue liquid called 'InstaBoost', you put a little on yer blower belt and it would GREATLY reduce belt slippage. You would feel a huge diff in how fast power would come on.
There is belt dressing available but I dont see InstaBoost.
Anyone remember InstaBoost?

I use that too! Works best if applied on belt at >6,000 RPM to ensure uniform coverage.

"Snake oil" products were probably being sold back when people still lived in caves.

Just get a good belt like a Gates RPM.

Yup, and until you get below a 3.25" blower pulley, any belt will do as long as it fits right. If you use a belt that's too long, no amount of snake oil is going to cure that. Put the shortest belt on that you can get on there.....and just enjoy the ride!

Or just take the belt off. Belt can't slip if there is no belt.

Rough crowd in here.
I think they rebranded it as traction compound. Here you go:
https://www.ultrabluetraction.com
That should give you plenty more boost. Smells pretty good too.
At the very least it will keep you busy for a bit trying to clean that gooey **** off everything under your hood.
Let us know how it works. I have a bottle in my garage that I’ve been trying to build up the nerve to try myself.
