Looking to lower my ET a few tenths. My 06 Vert is equipped with a hardtop, LS2 - E-Force - 3.25" pulley - Cooks Long Tube 1 3/4" headers - High flow CATS - Corsa Sport exhaust - Crane 1.8 Quick lift roller rockers - Yank 2800 Torque Converter - ALKT Control Methanol injection system - Ported TB and tuned via HP tuners. My plan is to convert to E85 adding the ECS Stage 1 E85 Fuel System, ID 1050X injectors, and drop to the 3" or 2.75" pulley. My current system produces right at 10lbs of boost @ 6200 RPM. I have read mixed reviews concerning the 2.75" pulley. Some say the boost increase over the 3" pulley is negligible, only producing more heat with little benefit. Just wondering if anyone has experience with the 2.75" pulley. I am leaning toward adding the smaller pulley but if there is no benefit over the 3", I will go with the 3".
Every setup is different but with the 2.75 pulley I was making right around 14lbs of boost. I was running an 8% overdrive damper. A larger idler pulley will give more belt wrap and eliminate any slip with the smaller pulleys.
realcanuk, thanks for your input. Based on your post and use of the 2.75" pulley, my guess is that my results would be similar to yours, producing around 14lbs of boost. Interested in the larger idler pulley. Do you have info on what you used?
I just put a 3" on mine tonight. MIne's a manual but I'm finishing up what you're talking about. Just installed ECS stage 1 e85 fuel system, ID 1050x injectors and flex sensor. I just recorded my first good log for my tuner after having some issues with my flex sensor (self inflicted). I'm hoping to try some e85 tomorrow. I'm still running the stock balancer right now but I have a 10% od pulley and BTR stage 3 pd cam for it.
m60gov20 - Good to learn of your build and interested in the results as we are an a very similar path. Curious as to why you are going with the 3" and not the 2.75" pulley. I will begin my build sometime after the first of the year. Still not sure of which pulley I will go with. Keep us up to date on your results!

My end goal was/is 10% OD and 3.25” pulley once i do my cam. I just figured I’d do the 3 “ until i do my cam and crank pulley. I may end up leaving the 3” on there depending in what my tuner says.

Curious, what kind of RWHP do you put down with your current combo?
Not sure of my RWHP but with 256 gears, running @ 6100 rpm through the traps in 3rd gear, my best Qtr Mile ET is 11.182 @ 126.51mph with a 60' of 1.683 and DA of 8,200 feet. Altitude is a performance killer. I routinely run quicker than people who claim to have 600+ RWHP. It is not unusual to run with DA's of over 9,000 feet at which time my ET's will drop to 11.3 or 11.4 range. Never been on a dyno. Tune at the track via HP Tuners.

Nice! I plan on supercharging my '06 base LS2 at some point. It has cam/headers and I'm hoping for atleast 600 RWHP with the AA kit.
