Default Forgestar D5 wheels?

Looking to see if anybody runs the Forgestar D5 fronts and rears on their cars. Looking for some pics as well. I'm thinking about getting some 17/18x5s for the front and 17x10 or 11 for the rear. Not sure what tire size exactly will be the best for me but I'm thinking a 305 or 315/45-17. I don't think ill need bead locks either.

Currently have a set of CF5s in 18x10 and 18x12. Just want to try and shed a bit of un-sprung weight.

For the rear of a GS or Z06 ... If you want a set of 17s, I would go with 17x11.

An offset of +45mm will keep the outer edge of these wheels the same distance from the outer / upper edge of the rear fenders as it was with the stock wheels (won't stick out or tuck in)

... and a set of 305/45 -17 Drag Radials

I don't but I am getting ready to pull the trigger on D5 Beadlock 17x11's with M&H 325/45/17's and 17x 5's on front. I need the 28" tall tire in the back. 1000RWHP does not like a 26" tire.
My buddy has these on his ZL1 and likes them. Welds are so expensive!

Weld owns forgestar, keep that in mind. I believe that is why they made the D5.

y’all are in luck. Just put mine on. 28/6/17 tire. They do rub some. Will mess with lowering bolts and see what works best for rubbing.

messed with the lowering bolts a little bit. She’s a little tight but I think this will work. Will definitely rub during sharp turns. 😕😕

Are you sure you have the right front tire size?
You should put a 26'' tire in there.

Just pulled the trigger on some 18x10/18x12 D5's from TPS. 1345 to my door.

I'm going to try the Hoosier drag radial because they're so light. Has anyone run the 18in setup and have input on front tire size? Wondering if my 315/30 and 295/30 will trigger any active handling/abs issues, the ratio puts me at 1.016.

They were great for sub 800whp. I out grew them quick once I got over 1000whp. I’m now 15” running a 275 pro.
