Default Harmonic balancer replacement

I have a ls2 with a a&a supercharger with a 6 rib pulley ...I am in the middle of a cam swap, also changing the valve springs, injectors ,fuel rails and going to flex fuel...while I have everything apart I might as well change the harmonic balancer cause I’m at 45 thousand miles and it’s all apart .

should I just do a replacement? Or under - overdrive leaning towards ati but which one do you guys recommend?

A&A direct drive. Comes with 10% overdrive balancer

Depending on your end goal A 10% overdrive might be a nice option for you. Id also go to 8rib if youre going to keep it around 700-900 HP range.

definitely replace it with an upgraded one (not factory). do the 10% overdrive 8 rib .... that way you'll be ready to go 8 rib set up in the future if you choose to. You're going to need it retuned anyway, might as well have them tune it for the 10% OD. you'll add boost without spending any more money since you're already replacing the HB. more boost = more power ......

never say no to free power LOL

Just get the Powerbond replacement standard diameter. Cheap and functional. Make sure to pin it to the crank.
8-rib is a good option while you’re at it (in which case you’d prob need ATI balancer which is more $$) but you’ll need to replace all your accessory pulleys too (more $$)
idk why you need to do 10% OD for more boost you can just pulley down on your blower. Read of up on pros and cons of OD/UD balancers before getting one.

10% over help with getting more boost with a bigger blower pulley for less chance of slip.

Makes on reducing slip while increasing boost. But can't it cause issues with overspinning your accessories? (e.g. alternator, etc.)

hence why I said to get the A&A secondary drive as only the blower will be 10% faster.
