One thing that is very different from before. Boost used to come in pretty quick but would climb through out the rpm range, about 10kpa per 1,000 rpm. Now I see max boost at mid 3,500 ish and it stays pretty steady all the way to 7,000 rpm. 7 kpa rise in boost from 3,500 to 7,000 rpm. Not sure how of that is cam, head porting or what I suspect is the blower porting. Cleaning up the blower post rotor. Anyone else with an Eforce, ported heads and cam that doesn't see the boost climb?

Tried to make a 1/4 mile pass last night. Even with a lousy 2.04 60' and banging it off the limiter on the 2-3 and 3-4 shift it managed to trap 141 in the 1/4. Hoping to dyno tomorrow then see if I can get it to the track soon.

Spent the day at the dyno yesterday. I was 3rd in line to get on the rollers and a couple of the cars before me had some gremlins they fought through. Finally when it was my turn on the first pull it made 800/771! I was happy and could have been done there. My tuner, Robert Williams added some fuel to it and one degree up top. 801/800 to the tires! At times during this I was reluctant to have the heads ported, wondered if it was worth it to port the blower…. Well, it was! Had I not I would have fell short of my goal. When we were tuning in the steeet I kept thinking man there has has to be something wrong in my suspension! This thing should hook better then this.
Big shout out to Brenton at Iron Mask and Robert Williams at Vendetta Speed. Robert is the best tuner that I’ve had the pleasure to work with. I’ll be sending him a file on my truck next.

Again thanks for letting me be a part of the build and do the head/blower porting.

Hard to say really, I was very impressed with the results from the flow bench on the heads, so I'm sure that was a big help. I've also noticed that boost doesn't climb but very little with rpm. I believe that's a result of the blower porting. I've heard others say that they suspected some of the boost spike at the top of rpm was possible boost stacking up in the blower itself. Whatever it is this one doesn't do it anymore.

Hoping to get it back next week. After breaking the output shaft on the trans which in spite of having the brace cracked the housing on the diff. It’s at RPM Transmission right now getting a level 7 4l60e and ZR1 diff with 3.42 gear. Going to try and get it to a track somewhere this winter and see how it does.
