I never had full size prospeed fans, I had full size fans, on my full size dewitts, but not the prospeeds. It was a different dual spal setup, but it clamped over the top the same way. Just don't want to steer you wrong.

Do your research before ordering Prospeed fans. Many have fitment issues especially with the full size. Brackets not lining up etc. I was set to order them myself but for a product that costs top dollar I don’t feel that’s acceptable. Stock fan is doing well with full size DeWitts.

Well, I've run dual spals and a whole host of other mixed matched stuff. Prospeed stuff has worked really well in the three cars I've put them in but have had a few issues with some of the wires being crossed but other than that nothing else. But like you said that's just my experience with them. My car runs the coolest of any others that I've compared too, but I worked hard on airflow and the angles of all the IC, Condenser, and Radiator all being almost exactly the same angle. A good spacing between IC and the Condenser/radiator was a huge key for my car. I run a Dewitts radiator, and the dual spals not sure which ones as they were on the car when purchased so I just kept them. I run the Lingenfelter oil cooler block and a B&M super cooler with the fan for my oil. Stock water pump 160* TSTAT. I have parallel cooling head gaskets and a #8 off of each rear of the head to the radiator. Here in Houston, it runs 175-185 in the dead heat with A/C on. And with Iron blocks and my LSX iron block, they have always ran about 15-20 degrees hotter than my AL blocks did. so, before the head gasket change and #8 lines, I was constantly running 190-200* same conditions A/C on etc... So Good luck. Just wanted to give you an idea of what worked for me.

Very similar to my setup but I have the 17" PWM Spal now. When we did my custom intercooler, didn't go overkill, and made sure the radiator got tons of fresh air. Made sure there was a gap, and the airflow lined up. Moving the condenser out, shrouding it all in, and the little things add up. Parallel cooling seems to have helped a lot too. It is all the little things like that that separate a car that can make a dyno pull for big power, and one that can be driven cross country with AC on and make big power.

Side benefit was that the engine oil got to operating temp quicker.

I used a 160* t'stat and more aggressive fan settings. Stock fan. The fan would turn on quicker and ramp up to the fastest fan speed quicker. In anything but hot weather, I thought the engine ran too cool. It could also idle for long stretches sitting still in 95* heat without even thinking of overheating. I don't think I ever saw it over 205 or 210. Normal cruise temp was around 180 in hot weather and 170 in cooler weather.
I'm using the exact set up. The highest temperature in mine was 221*F. That was in >100*F, in Napa CA. Mine cools back down to as low as 160*F if cruising on the freeway...
I have a full size DeWitts, and and Pro-Speed dual fans. I had hoped it would cool better at idle than it actually does.

When I hit 221*F as mentioned above, I parked the car and let traffic decrease. It was still climbing. I didn't want it to go any higher, cuz I'm **** about high temps in anything...but especially coolant and oil.

That being said, 220 isnt that hot. A lot of modern cars run at that all the time. Factory vettes don't even kick on fans to high until 230+. Vette people seem overly sensitive to coolant temps.

Full size prospeed fans do not work with an ecs kit. Well at least they did not fit in my application. The shortened version are the exact same fans just mounted side by side. It still mount perfect to a full size dewitts radiator.
