I'm confused, would this be gear box driven if its that far forward? Or a belt to belt with a shaft in between? I could see mounting a turbocharger up there, but I'm trying to wrap my head around a supercharger being that far from its drive.

He's most likely referring to how the race cars have the gear box directly in front of the engine which allows the inlet of the supercharger to be mounted directly in line with the motor and out of the bumper. It looks cool, but not practical for street cars that have to mount the intercooler and cooling fans in front.
That's pretty slick. Then I'm assuming you don't have to lower the radiator support to get the intake over top of it? Might help the ground clearance with the radiator support on lowered cars.

And improves the airflow at low speed, I'm almost certain that the angle of the A&A intercooler setup is forcing air down under the car at lower speed that's not allowing air to flow through the radiator as needed.
