Default Dash Logic Boost

I just installed my dash logic module. As far as the boost reading… I saw it range from 8-9 at idle and as much as 13 under a quick moderate throttle run. Dies this sound right for a V3TI on a stock ls3 with 3.8 pulley?

No. Your boost should be zero at idle, and full throttle ~6k RPM you should be seeing about 8 psi if you are on stock exhaust.

I don't have a Dashlogic and don't know the details of setting up your channels, but boost can be read via [MAP] minus [BARO]. This is assuming you've changed your MAP sensor to one that can read boost and set it up properly in your tune. The stock MAP sensor cannot read boost.

I still have a stock MAP sensor. I’ll have it swapped out with retune. Thanks for the information, didn’t know it needed to be swapped.

Forgive my ignorance as I'm new to modern forced induction. (The last thing a I ran was a Weiand 671.)
Does a V3ti have an electromagnetic clutch?

Wrong. Just because it's spinning doesn't mean you have positive manifold pressure.

So, if atmospheric pressure at sea level is is 14.7 (psi) and Intake manifold pressure is at its lowest at idle. Idle pressure readings for an LS3 engine are around 4-5 psi, that should create a vacuum, but not zero or negative manifold pressure, right.
I'm just here to learn, as I'm about to FI my car. I'm about to throw a bunch of cash and labor into my project and can't afford mistakes.
