can the inner lip be trimmed off to accomadate lowered cars?

Yes, that's what I actually suggest people do when lowering them.

not to hijack but i will be selling my carbon zr front and rear fenders soon. Anyone interested send me a pm. I installed them on the car and used them for about a summer i bought them from quik z06 they are not painted either.

How much is the front Z06 fender wider than the base corvette? You mentioned your wide body front fenders are 1" wider than base? Does that mean it's narrower than a Z06 fender?

I'm interested in a kit for my C6.

I'm not 100% sure maybe someone can confirm, but I think the Z06 is 1 inch wider as well. I know some of my customers have used OEM Z06 wheels and they fit great.
