Just installed my HRE's and got the TPMS warning. Wheels are from wheels boutique who uses Chevy Sensors. Took it to chevy today to get the new sensors reset and ran into an issue. They could read the pressure and sensor # with their TPM handheld. When they tried to get my BCM to learn the new sensors it would not allow them to learn and do the horn beep.
The car has been programmed for its transmission/tune by RPM for my automatic install, but they said this would not have anything to do with what they did. I also replaced the factory NAV with a Kenwood DNX 9960, but can't imagine that would cause it either. After 2 hours Chevy sent me home as they couldnt spend more time on it, and did not want to call GM and have to disclose my car is modded and void my warranty.
Any ideas on why my BCM won't go into learn mode so we can program these sensors?

Dealer probably forgot how to do it or the hand-held unit is not working right. Take it to Discount Tire (or similar specialty place) and have them try.
Last time I had one done the horn beeped for ever tire they did, they just do it in a specific order, if I remember right, starting with the driver front. I agree with Mez, go to a tire place, they will have the tool. The only time I ever went to the dealer is when I went to a higher ply tire on my Silverado and had to have the pressure upped to 70psi to keep from getting the over inflated alarm.
