2005 c6 with p2135 code.

2005 c6 with p2135 code.
well bought an 05 c6 and love it, has 106k on it but its very clean and well taken care of. one problem that has happened 2 or 3 times now is ill be driving and it will go into engine power reduced (limp) mode and says service traction system. pull over, plug into it and get the p2135 code, clear it and its fine. I wiggled the wired at the throttle body and at the pedal assembley. also used electric grease on the connectors. car is bone stock and I wanna get this issue fixed ASAP. BTW the car DOES NOT have the recall done about the clip under the steering colum.

had this issue on my car... I ended up having to replace the throttle body, BC the TPS sensors are inside the TB and cant be replaced. I did go through the whole procedure GM outlines for this code first to find out the TB was bad, and a new one took care of the issue.

good deal, I searched and found this to be a common problem, but I figure by now people know what the issue is and ill be planning on buying a new TB this winter then! dosnt always happen but when it does it surprises me and then i freak out haha. thanks!

Yeah, that reduced engine power is a real PITA....
The most common causes of that code are an actual faulty throttle body or gas pedal. if you end up needing a gas pedal hit me up because I prematurely replaced my pedal and have an extra one because the throttle body ended up being the problem.
