Hi everyone,
I recently acquired my brother in-laws 2007 C6 Corvette and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions and recommendations for OBD software to run on a Windows based laptop instead of purchasing a scan tool.
Back in 2007 I purchased VW Audi specific software called VagCom from Ross-Tech and their Hex+Can USB dongle for a VW Jetta that I had. It was far more useful than a scantool since I was able to use it to troubleshoot Air bag problems, troubleshoot an engine miss by cutting out injectors and was even able to recalibrate a speedo for a tire change or log engine parameters while driving.
I'm not into tuning just want the most features for the buck spent and I'm also wondering if my VW specific Hex+Can USB OBDII dongle will work on the 2007 Corvette?
