Default C6 Harness Bar

Got off the phone with R-D Racing and was told that they simply haven't had a C6 customer come in for a "fitting"! Dave said that the dealers around St. Louis are still trying to get "X" over MSRP, that, combined with winter have slowed sales down.
Dave said if anyone in the area wanted to have their car used for a template a VERY good deal would be made to that person! ( I wonder how long it would take me to drive to St. Louis.... )

I'm waiting too. I need a harness bar by the end of March '05.
I also contacted Brey Krause and it doesn't sound as if they are really working on anything either.

I think someone said that Hardbar (another supporting vendor on the left of the screen) would have one ready sometime this month. So, I will be following up with them later this month.

I am in the same situation as you guys. I have talked with Dennis, at Hardbar, and it sounds like they are within 30 days of having a C6 kit. It might include pre-cut interior panels where the bar will attach to the seat belt bolts on the B pillar. Or, a template to cut your existing panel. I told him my preference was to have the pre-cut panel. I had rather pay the premium for the convenience and, to have the stock panel for future use. If anyone has a preference, give him a call.

I am also curious which seats you folks are considering. I have found the market to be very limited, due to the narrow cockpit. I think I am leaning in favor of the Sparco Evo, although the fixed side-mount will probably mean I will be switching seats for each track event. I have also thought about the Corbeau A4, which could be mounted on a sliding bottom mount. Maybe it could be left in the car for street use, since it is a recliner with low enough sides to accommodate the OEM lap belt on the street. But the Evo is more supportive and would offer a lower seating position (I'm 6'2"). ??
