Procharger has not made a full install kit for it...So randy (friend and mechanic) Took a C5 Kit and made minor(i mean minor adjustments)and then ordered a customer mounting bracket from Andy (A & A) and installed that and it all bolted together no leaks or problems....
Now as for the dyno...
Randy said this car was more of a dyno car and a dealer ship sent it to him and in 90' sum hours had to fab a kit and install it and get it back to a dealer for sale...and sure enough randy took it back to the dealer it sold that day...never got time to the dyno...but i believe the customer is taking it back for dyno and etc..
But if interested call and ask for keith or randy @ 303-458-0832 they can get you all the info you will need i was just an eye witness!
I wanted to see if there was any other C6's out there that have been procharged?
One of my friends Randy just installed a procharger on a C6 and oh god was it fast and it didnt ping or knock! all i can say is i want one now!
any other guys planning on procharging there C6?
Thanks Kev
We did this last November for the SEMA show in LAS Vegas the problem is the tuning software, this is a MDMC custom F1R Procharger kit see it and hear it at this link MDMC Z1100 F1R Procharged C6
that looks just like the kit that was installed and it is funny because i look at the air filter intake on this pic and that’s pretty much what randy did and so all i can say is he ran a 4.6 pulley on the D1SC to keep the boost as low as possible. Also he mentioned something about modifying the bracket a little because a bolt was hitting the bracket..? do you recall anything like that? But i do know he has let Andy in on all the little things that can be modified to make the install a precise fit!
Randy did mention tuning, but was very surprised that the ECM adapted very well to the new setup.

Colorado, i would like to see a running procharged c6 without the Mass air flow flipping out and it so happens I will be in Denver this weekend. Also for more photos and the above Z1100 and three other MDMC cars are listed on the procharger site http://www.procharger.com/SEMA2004/other.shtml
Sounds good to me! Tim i will by at the dyno shop getting the vette re dyno with new wires, new plugs, new cap and rotor (yep you remember what happened last time we had to replace it) plugs, and tune and smaller pulley!
AS for the C6 i am just the messanger dont shoot me i saw what i saw and it seemd to run fine no pinging or knocking and hella fast!
Optic are you bringing any of your c6s up to denver...i would be interested in checking out some of your work.
Im not bring any of the cars, Im flying again thank god, as soon as the Z1100 is tuned for RWHP numbers i will be draging it around the States again racing it just like the blue one. The only probelm i see with the stock 6.0 cid is we will have to run 110 octain to be safe with the 18 psi of boost it pushes from the F1R.
We have 3 other Z1100 under construction with the 427's in them we hope to get more power with a few better parts we are using now, here is a RWHP graph from one of our MDMC 427 tt 2003's with 10.5 psi of boost.

you got any combos that keep pulling all the way to redline ? did you have to back it off around 53 to keep it from blowing itslef apart ? (how far is the ignition retard at 53). 110 isn't really a problem that's what it takes sometimes.

That is all that 427 combo with the small cam had in it, max power 6,200 rpms. As for blowing apart not with that bottom end and C5R race case we have never had that problem even over 1000RWHP. The quicker you get your power the better.

optic,
What kits do you have planned for the 6.0? Anything we can run on pump gas or we going to have to lower the CR to get real power?

We will have kits like the one above and we will also sell the standard procharger kits. All the base kits will use pump gas it just seems we will have to limit boost to around 6 pounds to be on the safe side.
