Intake and Exhaust
Andy G.

At westcoastcorvette.com they show a "system 1" and a "system 2", and then they go on to state that system 2 is equivelent to the C5 stingers. So thats what you got right? system 2? Luckily I haven't paid for it yet so I'll call and let them know which system I want. Thanks for the help I may not have even noticed.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I had Random's dual high flow Cats, their 3" y-pipe and Cat-Back exhaust on my 2000 Firebird Formula, I WAS AMAZED! WHY? Well, in 2002, I dynoed this car back to back with my new 2002 Formula Firehawk. Now, the prior car was suppose to have 310 hp and the later 345hp. All the 2000 had was the Random Tech high flow cats, 3" y-pipe, the Random Tech Cat-Back exhaust system, and a K&N filter!
My Firehawk was a later year production car so it had the Z06 intake and the Donaldson airlid & filter.
The 2000 was within 10hp and 14 ft. lbs. of torque of the 2002 Firehawk. Frankly I was shocked! We even dynoed again, opening my air box entirely on the 2002 Firehawk!
This was done on the Hot Rod Power Tour, at the Kansas City stop at Cheifs stadium. I WAS AMAZED and truly sold on the Random products.
Now, this new Corvette system has long tube headers, high flow Cats, x-pipe, and 3" stainless steel all the way back, w/4" dual wall tips and DUAL DUAL tips, looks SUPER!
Their dyno sheet shows consistent 17 to 20 RWHP! Check out www.randomtechnology.com and see the dyno for yourself
Dyno results: Max Power 372.4 vs 353.7 and Max Torque 368.3 vs 355.6
But I am willing to go with the best performance (and easier to install products)!
Let's hear your opinons please!!! IS THERE ANY OTHER SYTEM WITH BETTER NUMBERS???
