Can anyone tell me what this equates to at the engine....454.65 RWHP. Is there a way to figure it out and be realistic?
Thanks,
Ted

I hope others chime in as well
for a 6 speed, try 15%-18% loss, for an auto, 20%-25%??
That should be close enough...
Do a forum search, there has been much talk about driveline loss...

RWHP divided by .85 equates to Flywheel HP
454 = 534 flywheel HP

Auto = 454 * 1.23 = 558 hp
Manual = 454 * 1.15 = 522 hp
Example LPE 500 HP package just resulted in 410 RWHP in an auto. So, 410 * 1.23 =504 HP. Very close.

15% loss for manual;
You should Divide the 454.65HP by .85, not multiply by 1.15.
454.65RWHP= 454.65 divided by .85 = 534.88 Flywheel HP.
20% loss for auto;
454.65RWHP= 454.65 divided by .80 = 568.31 Flywheel HP.
