I would like to install a windscreen for long trips. The instructions are a little vague. They warn that the cover will only stay open for four minutes and then close (which is true) and that the service department will have to "reset" something........ but they don't tell you how to disengage that feature so the top stays open to install the brackets. Does anyone have any answers?
My local service department does not have a clue; one mechanic didn't even know they made power tops!

I had mine open for about an hour today, mine didn't close after 4 minutes. Maybe because I pulled the manual release.
Anyway, when I closed afterwards, it the stupid thing wouldn't lock.
There is a gray lever on the front side of the mechanism on the tonneau cover. Once I flipped it, the tonneau cover locked down again.
