I spoke to em on the phone yesterday. Among other things he said...1 Installed on several cars all of which did gain the 15 hp claimed on their site. 2 Cutting was required, template included. 3 Water ingestion should be not much more likely than stock. 4 They are expecting the big plastic portion to come in on either Friday or the following Monday and if it meets specs they will begin shipping. I forgot to ask if it changes the induction sound. I would like more but the design looks to me like it would remain stock.

Cutting of the shroud is required
You pop rivet the mount for the filter and the honker
locks into place over the filter very professional-- ypu do not see the
cuts
