One of the quickest and best ways to improve the performance of your C6 Corvette is to eliminate the restrictive stock air box. This easy-to-install air filter--dubbed the "Blackwing" for its unique appearance--out-flows the factory setup and will allow your C6 to ingest more air to provide you with more horsepower!
The Blackwing uses 100% synthetic filtration media called Synteq. The fibers are extremely uniform and very small, allowing the filter to flow more air and trap smaller particles than do ordinary cotton and oiled-cotton "performance" filters. The Blackwing also features an exclusive flow indicator that changes color when cleaning is required.
This is a simple bolt-on installation that requires no vehicle modifications. All necessary parts and complete instructions are included.
We are currently taking pre-orders for this system. We expect the first batch to be ready to ship in a few weeks. The price is $379.99 and you can save $15. by placing your order on our website.

i would like to see any added performance gains before i make a decision.
just claiming that this system adds horsepower doesnt do it for me. i would like to see before and after dyno runs to back up your statement, otherwise, ill leave the stock system in there
I am not trying to take business away from you by any means. But I have tried the blackwing on my Heads/Cam C6 after install and the Car dynoed less horsepower then what the Stock induction made.
Just from personal experinece I am saying this cause I dont want anyone to run into the same problem I had.
Again I Lost power from the blackwing compared to the Stock setup.
$400 for an air filter? Why soo much more than a C5? I thought $200 was more then enough considering all it is is a filter. Note that I was very happy with mine and definitely noticed an improvment on my C5.
First dyno run March 15, 2005 Stock with 3818 miles on car
Second dyno run May 2, 2005 With K&N filter plus GM’s performance catback exhaust by Borla with 8870 miles on car.
1. Both were morning runs with identical Temperatures outside.
2. Same Dyno
3. Same operator
4. Stock: 344.5 rwhp 340.8 rwtq
5. K&N + Exhaust: 344.4 rwhp 342.4 rwtq
GM didn't leave much on the table. Also before you aftermarket guys go nuts, hood was up so temp was as cold as you can get and large fan blowing on front.
