Default Magnaflow 14335

After lots of research I leaning towards buying the Magnaflow mufflers 14335, and replacing the stock mufflers. I've read that several others have done this too. The Borla system that I wanted is now in back order. Corsa Sports, well, I wasn't happy with the Corsa Indy, so think I want to go in another direction. The Magnaflow system is right at 1800, I can't justify paying that kind of money. So my plan is to go with the Magnaflow mufflers 125 each, labor around 200, 450 total.

Does anyone have first hand knowledge about the sound of the 14335, feedback wanted.

thanks

They have a very mellow tone, louder then stock, but quieter than most aftermarket systems. The sound is very clean and IMO perfect. I would highly reccomend them.

You are going to love them. When the top is off, you will notice a big difference in the sound. Also idle is much deeper. Also, after a couple of weeks, they have seemed to opened up a bit.

I just had mine done today. I like things quiet and they are a little loud for me at cruise. Kind of looking forward to hearing a Corsa touring now. Everyone at the muffler shop loved it though and it looks great?

Good luck! KC

I was just on the Magnaflow site and they don't show the 14335 number anywhere. No listing for the #, no description, no price. Where did you get the info?

Thanksfor the link. Next problem; isn't our pipe diameter 2 1/2"? That muffler is 2 1/4" in and out.

Maybe the guy that posted the #14336 is right, at least he said one side was 2 1/2".

I just ordered the #14336 Magnaflow mufflers, I went with the 14336 because they are a 2.5" in and 2.5" out. Since the stock pipes are 2.5" I couldn't see going smaller for the mufflers, the only problem now is the tips, the stock tips are only a 2.00" OD, a major restriction, I bought Magnaflow S/S double wall single tips that we can adjust to fit the 2.5" muffler. Tips are really expensive, they retail for $70 and up. With discounts and being a "helper" while he's installing I should get by for under $400.00 including the install.About 1/3 the cost of a cat back and should be similar performance and sound.

Many thanks to the people on this Forum for posting stock numbers and pictures, it made my decision and purchase easy.
