I'm looking to buy a set of speed bleeders. Does anyone have experience with these, and where can I find them? What features/brands should I look for or stay away from?
I like my Motive PowerBleeder. I can flush or bleed the system in about 1/2 the time it takes me to remove and reinstall the tires. Just put some fresh fluid in the drum, screw cap onto brake reservoir, pump to 5 PSI. Now go to the farthest brake caliper, attach hose to waste container, open valve, wait for fresh fluid to appear (a few seconds), close valve. Repeat on 3 other calipers.

Thanks guys! I checked out the speedbleeders website, they don't have sizes listed for vettes after 98, but I sent them an email asking what size will fit.
Mark, go to Harbor Freight or an auto parts store and pick up a Mighty Mite Vacum Brake Bleeder for $34. Simple and easy to use. Bought one when I removed the calipers for powder coating.
The Mighty Mite Vacumm works great, I just did my '97s brakes with it. Just used a turkey baster to remove most of the brake fluid from the master cylinder, filled with fresh brake fluid, went to the rr brake cylinder insalled the Mighty Mite Vac, pumped up to about 5 lbs vacumm, opened the bleed screw and watched as the fluid drained into the container. Repeated for other wheels all the while making sure the master cylinder stayed full. worked like a charm.
I got the sizes for the "speedbleeders" brand. If anyone wants to know PM me. Now I just need to decide which type to get. The vacuum type seems pretty easy to use. Thanks guys
