Halltech has two different cars now with a bit better than 10 hp increase. This interestingly is the same as the dyno Callaway posted of their honker. It is early in the game but I believe there is some power there. Just dropping in a K&N filter is not the same as installing a new intake. Unless the stock media is a significant obstruction there isnt going to be a gain there. For my part Im not too worried about it. I suspect they are all going to be hitting in the same ballpark so I feel Im going to get whats there regardless. Also I would pay the money just to get the induction sound of an open element so its all gravy to me.
...we'll compare notes in the near future. Hopefully we'll both get what we were looking for anyway.....that sucking sound! However, after I get the headers installed, probably a little increase in the volume of sound off the exhaust, so I'm not sure I'll be able to hear much of anything.......what the hell.
Might have to swap cars for a quick drive. I got the 3.90s in as you know and the intake as I said is about 10 days out. When are your headers going on?
...sounds like a plan. They submitted the GP a week or so ago, can't pin them down, but sounds like somewhere between 2-4 weeks. I had Maltby's lined up for the install tomorrow, but had to canx, waiting on the product. I understand the Callaways are being shipped, so hopefully it'll show up any day. Yeah, I heard about your gears....thats awesome, can't wait to check it out. Mods everywhere
