Steering Noise!!
I just bought a 2005 corvette only to find out that it has this extremely loud vibrating noise when turning the steering wheel at idle-as if there was a gorilla in the car. After numerous phone calls to the dealer and GM, and weeks in the shop, they conclude there is nothing they can or will do about it, including replacing the car (unless I want to pay thousands of dollars for the depreciation of my car after ONE month to exchange it for the SAME, EXACT car). Now if this was a secondhand car, or a cheap car, I wouldn't care, but for the amount of money I paid, this is outrageous. Has anyone else had this same problem?

Step 1. Take the car to a different dealer. Explain the problem and that the first dealer was unable to find the problem.
Step 2. Contact Chevrolet District office nearest to you. Ask for assistance in solving problem. Be polite and calm.
Step 3. After you have documented (dates and names) all your attempts to solve the problem it is time to see your attorney. Sometimes just a letter will get the ball rolling toward arbutration or lemon law replacement.
