Reading codes on dash--possible?

Is there a way to read and reset codes on the C6 like a C5 can?

I wonder why GM took that feature away from us? Guess thay can charge half an hour labor now to pull the codes.

yes, the TECH 2 will work to pull codes but it doesnt work to do any type of datalogging. With GM's new style of ECU now not only do you have to have a $2500 tech2 you also need a CANdi module/box to be able to datalog. We found this out the other day when trying to tune using LS2 EDIT

Sometimes you can call onStar and get the codes from them. Some onStar advisers have been very reluctant to give you the info, but others will give it to you if you twist their arm.

It sucks that you can't get the codes yourself with the dic.
