+1 on pics and price. I was thinking about getting them, since my team is sponsored by Virtical Doors... I have talked to several C5 owners who love them and even say access is easier than OEM doors, just want some input from a fellow C6 owner who has them first...

Hey, I just got a new dishwasher. Its really cool; all stainless exterior. I'm not gonna post pics though. You'll just have to imagine how cool it looks.

The only thing lambo doors are good for, are when you get in and out you dont have to worry about getting scuff marks on the door from your shoes. Otherwise it's like stuffing your bra.
Hmm, kinda like them on the C6. Never cared for them on the C5 though. Are they hard to close from the outside when pushing them in?
Looks from the pics it has plenty of clearence when getting out. Thanks for the pics.

I should have mentioned that wasn't my car. I just got those pictures from the VerticalDoors website. I would love to have them on my c6 though.

Two comments:
1) TTT means "To the Top" so that the thread stays at the top of the list.
2) The comment that "Next" said not to put them on a Corvette because of the plastic doors As far as I know, that is not an issue.
The Corvette kit is not welded to the car's door jamb, as the other kits are. The Corvette kits have a welded on sub-frame that bolts to the stock hinge bolt locations, and because the doors don't weigh any more than stock, there are not any unusual loads or forces placed on the door mounting points of the car. You do need to use a bit more care in closing the doors (ie make sure they are all the way down, before you swing them in to latch). Other than that, there isn't any problem
I want to put lambo doors on my wife's MDX so she stops banging the freakin doors into my BMW! The Vette is safely out of the way on the other side of the garage.
I think they are kinda cool but I am more of a "minimalist" (reason I bought a Z06). It just seems like an extra step for opening the door since you have to open the door slightly anyway and then swing them up. I know its not possible due to the design but if they were like true Lambo type doors that go straight up (without hinging out first) then they would be more my style.

I believe that someone beat you to it. I think in the late 50s or early 60s Kaiser made a two seater convertable that the doors slid foreward and pocketed into the front fenders behind the front wheels. I went looking for a picture that i had of one from the Barret/Jackson auction, but no luck.
