What we have found from customers is that "drone or resonance" is subjective to the owners description. One C5 customer, with Borla stingers said there was absolutely no resonance. I drove the car and my ear drums were hurting. We recommend only the GHL's for the C5's and the C6's. Our customers love them. We have taken off several sets of other brands of exhaust because the customer loved the sounds of the GHL's. I am sure , just like some of the C5's, some of the C6's will have a little resonance. This seems to be vehicle specific and seems that each engine has a slightly different range in which they resonante.
I have driven several C5's and C6's with stock exhaust. If you really listen and feel, there is a slight resonance with the stock exhaust also.
Once you see the GHL's in person, they are a work of art and the quality is unsurpassed in our opinion.

What about the issue that they stick out past the fascia. It extends out past the top of the fascia before the fascia curves down.. Any "fix" to make it match the stock length??? Thanks for your help..

Mine resonates @ idle a little. Not "annoying" mind you, but noticable nonetheless...

Resonance (the real annoying kind) is the frequency of RPMs, that match the resonate frequency of the CABIN (as every enclosed space has a frequency at with it resonates), which can vary with changes in the volume of the space itself (passengers, cargo, etc). There is also a resonant frequency of the muffler cans themselves, and vibrations caused by a bad/incorrect mount, that rubs against the body.

I just put 6,500 miles on the GHLs in a 30 day trip. They are as quiet as stock at cruise, loud on acceleration and DO burble on deacceration.

I didn't notice a change as the mileage went up - don't know how that can happen. They are basically and empty can with nothing to blow out.

These are my first GHLs after a couple sets of Corsas, and I like them better, but everyone has different preferences. I sure wouldn't base my purchase on limited input. Try to hear the real deal before buying. IMHO

Thanks for the info. It is my understanding that the GHL's are the ones with packing in them so they are not empty cans..Can anyone chime in on this...V

That's an issue?! I think a touch of poke out enhances and helps define and distinguish you from the thundering herd of "me too's". They capture just as much attention as my wheels in my experience so far.

But alas, your muffler shop can do whatever you want for your add on whether it be flush, or a little pokey! Wait & see the video to see how much it bothers you ??
