Only 3 miles on odometer?

It is quiet as can be. One of the quietest vettes I have had and really at this point is also quieter than my 2001 Monte Carlo SS. OK maybe one of the quietest cars I have ever had (although my past vehicle choices included Camaros and Firebirds.)
Although when the thing sits at idle I can here some high pitched background noises, here same before turning on the car when I get in and just sit but don't start. Some gadgets are working under that dash which make some sort of electric noises of some sort, maybe some sort of motor sound or something.
OK what do I know really, the car only has maybe 60 miles on it so far. Need to spend more time I guess to describe the sound and when it occurs.
So pretty quiet body right now. Perhaps when I take the top on and off a dozen times she will start making squeeky noises and rattles like my 1985 does. In comparison though the two bodies are like night and day, one is constantly flexing one is rock solid. One glides down the road, the other in comparison feels like it is a rough and tumble car and might leave some engine and body parts behind. Can you guess which is which? Don't get me wrong. The 85 I really still like driving at this point as it is a different type of feel. Maybe after 1000 miles of C6 I will hop in the 85 and drive it and just laugh and wonder why I still have it. Only time will tell.
VNAMVET sorry to hear yours is noisy. I hope there is a way to find out where the noise comes from so they can make it more quiet.
Until then turn up the radio or perhaps get a louder exhaust to mask the sound?
My car was delivered to me with 2 miles showing. If you can access your vehicle's build information, the odometer miles upon leaving the factory will be given.

I have all of you beat. I told the salesman that I wanted to take delivery of the car when it came off the truck and that I didnt want anyone at the dealership touching it. I wanted to drive it home with all of the interior and exterior protection still in place. He called me when the truck arrived and I saw 1 mile on the odometer when the driver off-loaded it. The saleman told me he had been selling cars for 20 years and he never saw a car with only 1 mile on it.

Be thankful things at the plant have changed since the 70s. A friend of mine worked at the plant when it was in St. Louis and went to BG with the move. He said the assembly line workers used to drag race them at the plant in St. Louis. They would race side by side inside the building - couldn't get up a lot of speed.
mine had 11 miles when I test drove it and 15 when I took it home this sunday, and if you guys read my post on ls2.com it had 298 miles when this ******* backed into me this thursday. its getting appraised thsi tuesday and then to the shop for an estimate and hopefully it gets repaired soon, I can't stand looking at it right now with those dents. here are some pics.

I'm not complaining at all, I'm just surprised.
I took the plant tour last year, and if your car was tested on the outside track(which is just a normal road) you received a certificate stating this to account for the mileage. If I remember right they put on about 30 miles. I talked to one of the guys who spends everyday testing about 3 corvettes. I asked to see how I could get his job, he told me had 40 years of seniority. I just can't wait that long....
