Considering what it takes to make those packages reliable and the volume that they deal with, I don't think pricing is out of line. At 27k that would put my car just a little higher than a Z06 at MSRP after tax and all that stuff. For that you get a car that's much faster, very unique, and you can take the top off . Just imagine the look on a Z06 owner's face when you pull up and you can hear the turbos. I'd take that over a Z06 any day. Now if only I could convince my boss to double my salary...

Most people don't realize the amount of fabrication, and engineering that goes into a properly designed turbo system, but if you know how expensive quality work is, then it's easy to see why the price of a good turbo package is so high.

There are several companies out there that sell turbo kits for these cars for a considerable amount less money, and some people have been able to install them, and produce good numbers, but we all know that there is an even larger number of members who have bought these kits, and attempted to install them, only to end up with a very expensive car that can't be driven. When we build you a turbo car, it idles, drives, sounds and acts like a stock Corvette everywhere except WOT, where it is a completely different car!!, but the nice thing is that when you're done being aggressive, it goes right back to acting like a stock Corvette.

We are currently working on pricing our TT packages on different levels similar to how we offered the C5 TT packages, but Jeff's $27K estimate is pretty fair.

Feel free to let us know if we can answer any specific questions,

Thanks!
Ed
Your Packages has a price for auto tranny upgrade. Does that include the new A6? Is it strong enough for that much torque?
I'm in line for a ZO6, but I would consider an 06' A6 with some bump in power. Maybe a milder turbo system.(single?)
Something that keeps cost at or below the extra you pay for ZO6.

Thanks for all of the support guys, I think we all learned a valuable lesson on the many attempts at a budget priced C5 kit. When someone offers you the same thing for considerably less money, you have to wonder what was left out??

Good to see a post from the elusive Shackman, remember that name friends, his car is what we all dream of being when we grow up!

I'll give you a hint, his license plate reads: 1000HP
and it's being conservative!

RWSjr, our current trans mod only covers the 4L65E in the 97-05 models, I'm sure we can do something siomilar with the new A6, but cost & power level won't be determined untill we actually build the first units. You might be interested in our current N/A 427 LS2 package, should make your C6 very competetive with the upcoming ZO6's !

Would it be feasible/more cost effective/bullet proof to install LS7?
Better gains with future mods?
Better yet, just put me an A6 in my ZO6 when It comes in.
(no flames now, we all have our preferences.)

One doesn't hear turbos at idle. One can hear supercharger gear whine thou.
