Mods completed (for now)
Just got the car back. Installed Honker (previously) B&M short shifter and Corsa Touring. I know its been said before but dammit, this is how the car should have been delivered by GM. SOTP feel : increased pull on takeoff and the sound is great - idle is slightly louder than stock but WOT is music to your ears. Slight burble when coasting in mid-RPM of 2nd and 3rd. Altho it is 90+ in NYC metro area, I took off the top and turned off the radio just to hear it! NO resonance - NONE at ANY RPM. Shifter seems mostly quiet and it is a joy to use. The best part is the thrusting sound on a hard launch. The sound clips on the Corsa website just do not do it justice. Now its just, drive drive drive!

However, mine is a A4 and I feel the same way now: "idle is slightly louder than stock but HALF WOT (car only has, no pun intended-427 miles on it) and it too is MUSIC TO YOUR EARS"-even with the A4.
