I only have 3K miles on my Z51 MN6 and I have a squeal I can duplicate at will. I hear it at about 2800RPM under normal shifting. If I work the throttle I can hold the squeal up to 4500RPM. Again, this would not be a lot of pedal just typical driving. Also, if I'm crusing, I can hear it if I feather the pedal on and off.
I can NOT duplicate the sound while stopped with the clutch in or out. It appears this must occur under load.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Could it be a bad throwout bearing? Or best case a fan belt? Please advise. Thanks.
