caught rubber when shifting from 3rd
man oh man, this car is one bad mother. No real mods, just the B&B Bullets cat-back and some K&N filters. I never thought I would catch rubber this good when shifting from 3rd but I was wrong.
I put the car in comp. mode, started out slow (didn't want to toast/waste a bunch of rubber - these tires aint cheap), caught a nice little chirp from 1st to 2nd. got back into it and caught rubber in the 2nd to 3rd shift. Staying with it I kept accelerating, shifted, whoa...the rear of the car squated down, slid sideways, wow.. oh wait.!!.I just accidently shifted into 2nd... arrrr... back up into 3rd..slow down.. now 4th...whew...didn't hit the rev limiter so I didn't wind it that tight.
My car peels rubber consistantly going to 3rd,more so after stinger.Getting a tune tomorrow,so now I guess I have to look for 4th.Try turning everything off and youll really break the tires alot more.Just hold the button for about 5 or 6 seconds to turn all off.Pulls harder than comp mode.Several guys have tried all modes on the track and said everything off turned the best time slips by one or two tenths.
