Anyone use heal and toe with the stock gas & brake pedal? How about with the Complete Dreams gas pedal? It looks wider and should be easier to perform the H&T downshift. HOw difficult/easy would you say the maneuver is in a C-6?

Learn to use the peddles that you have. Rember heel-n-toe is NOT really useing your heel and toe.

When downshifting, the right foot does double duty. the left side of the right foot is pushing hard on the brake, when the RPMS drop, the left foot pushings in the clutch, AT THE SAME TIME, the right side of the rigt foot with an ankle roll blips the throttle to increase RMPS 1500 to match the drive shaft speed, then the down shift happens. All this happens AT THE SAME time with in 1/2 sec.

It takes practice, lots of practice untill it is second nature.

Thanks for the tips. I'm working on it and it does take practice.

I have no problem doing this with the stock pedals. It just takes a little getting used to, like any unfailiar car would.

Each new car requires getting used to due to the pedal layout. I put on Elite Engineering pedals that made it a little easier, great looks as well.

That's what I meant, Elite Engineering Pedals (not Complete Dreams). Their gas pedal is a little wider than the stock one making a h&t downshift a lot easier. It still takes practice, however.

If you have a small foot you can get a 13mm wrench and take the pedal assembly off...put the pedal extension in a vice and bend the pedal toward the brake...save money...

I've found the C6 harder to heel and toe than the C5. Seems like a larger gap to me (with a size 10 shoe).

I'm going to give the Elite Engineering gas pedal a try.
