Header install in Southern CA?

Header install in Southern CA?
As I was getting ready to install the LG headers next week, I called several places to get a quote. One near my home, quoted me $700 for the header installation and $ 280 for the LPE cold air intake installation. I was thinking more like $ 350 for the header.... Is this reasonable?

I called West Coast Corvette and Corvette Mike and their prices were hugely ridiculous. If you don't have time, or don't want to do it yourself, you should go for some smaller shop who are reputable. Since I'm in Placentia, I can drop by to help you a little bit, but with 2 young sons, don't know how much time I have.Good luck,

I was quoted $500 from a local performance shop. Decided to pay a friend $200 for the use of his lift, air tools and experienced help. 4 1/2 hours of my time with his help underneath for about 2 hours. If you can follow the instructions better than I did it can be done in less time.
