I have lived with the bullets for just about a week. With the top off or the windows open, it's just great. No drone. When the top is on and the windows are closed, the resonance is so bad at times that the contents of the car vibrate in harmony. I think it may be a coupe issue.
Anyway, I have found that it is tolerable if I downshift one or two gears. Once it is above around 1600 or so it smoothes out.
Gas mileage does not seem to be suffering. Around 20 mpg before, and around 20 mpg now.
Maybe it is just an adjustment thing. Me, not the car.
Corsa is the only way to go in my opinion. I'm still new to the muscle car scene, but what I do know is this; I'm 24 years old and before I purchased my C6 Z51 'Vette in January I owned a Subaru STi. That's what the youngens are into. The pocket rocket cars that you can built the hell out of for cheap. I gained experience and education from my mistakes. Anyway, I've learned that Corsa, a sub company of Borla, provides exhaust systems that will withstand the test of modifications and time, thus making it a better system for the long-term enthusiast. No 'Drone', aggressive sound and responce; worth every penny. If you want something loud and poorly made, then you face the consequences of the product. I don't think that an X pipe will help you with this. Good luck and I hope it works out for you.

Drone and resonance has everything to do with the pipe bends and mufflers. The B&B Bullets don't have any mufflers, they have a small 5 inch resonator, hence the sound.
Straight pipes would have the same issues. Just because a set of pipes makes more noise does not make it an inferior product, nor does it neccessarily make them better.
Mufflers and or noise supperssion usually reduce flow and thereby reduce potential power output.
It all depends upon what you want, if you want nascar loud, then the B&B Bullets, x-pipe and headers are for you (plan on using earplugs for long drives), if you want a quiter ride but a little rasp then the corsa's are for you.
The best way to decide is to go to a couple of get togethers, find someone with the pipes you're interested in and go for a ride. This really is the only way you will truely know what they will sound like.

Don't believe that Corsa is a "sub" of Borla - where did you get that?
One of my buddies that does extensive exhaust work had told me that once. I did my homework on line and I actually can't find the accuracy of that statement. Sorry for the mistake. What I can say is that I am extremily happy with my Corsa Touring on my 'Vette in the same way that I was happy with my Borla on my STi.
CORSA
No drone. Why do people keep putting these obviously under-engineered exhaust systems on thier Corvettes? It boggles my mind. If the car drones there is a problem.
Because I personally don't like the Euro-sound of the Corsa's, to each their own. Did the Rt 66's, slight drone, not bad, strong, deep sound at speed and idle.
