Would it work with the Honker? The airbox is in the same location and all.
I feel like the low guy, I'm making 380 w/Kooks, tune, and the Honker. Maybe I can get to 390 with the spacer.
The spacer worked fine on our C6 and we have a prototype Vararam unit on the car. It should work fine with most intake systems, although I can't say 100% for sure unless we try a spacer with every intake system available.
The Vararam unit is a front grille breather unit so it does sit between the MAF and the grille making it a front breather kit.

As promised, here is the dyno sheet. The first run is the way the car came in which was equipped with K&N panel filters and Magnaflow mufflers. The second run was with Kooks headers and the third run was after we installed the Vararam throttle body spacer.
Now you can really see the results.

All this WITHOUT tuning. Not bad at all. We will be able to get you even better numbers once HP Tuner is released for the C6.

Thanks for the heads up. They keep telling us they are still testing it. I wonder if the unlimited user version is different over the single user version.
Is the set up, with headers, smog compliant in CA? I'd like to go the same direction with my C6, but don't want to deal with any smog issues.

There aren't any long tube headers available currently that are smog compliant, however we have known of many C5 owners that have told us that they have passed smog in California with their long tube headers and high flow cats.
Also, with Arnold's newest smog policy, owners of new vehicles don't have to smog their cars for at least 6 years and if you sell the car within the first 4 years of purchasing it, you don't have to smog it either. I think that is why a lot of C6 owners are installing them. They probably won't have their cars 6 years down the road.
