Is lowering a C6 easy?

Is lowering a C6 easy?
Ran a search and couldn't find anything. Is lowering quick and easy? I see the 10mm bolts underneath the rear. Just turn em' clockwise? How about the front? With the C5, I needed to remove the bottom bolts of the shocks. Need to do this here? Thanx!

There's some info in the FAQ, check it out. And yes it's easy. Just turn those bolts, but you want to go counter clockwise, so that the bolts go up. The front is just like the rear. If you want to go lower you'll have to cut the bushings or buy the lowering bolts, but that's not much harder. Now go drop that vette.

sorry to bring an old thread up again. I was thinking of taking mine to a Muffler shop and buy the lowering bolts and get it lowered. Is this such a good idea and how much can i expect the costs to run around. If i do want to lower it with out lowering bolts how much inches can i drop, can i control the height of my drop.

Lowering all the way on the stock bolts seems perfect to me. The front you really wouldn't want lower because it would look stupid, the rear could come doen a fraction but it gives it a real good front to rear rake. Do it yourself. Best bet is to take off each wheel and use a RATCHETING 10mm wrench. Good luck!
