This is my first vette so I'm VERY new to the "Code" game with this car... I just got a c.e.l., and the car has the usual mods... headers, cat back, intake, LS2 edit... Mods have been on for a while with no codes till now. My question is can LS2 edit read codes and reset the c.e.l. (local shop) or must i go to a dealer for a g.m. tool???

Mr.Big; I'm having the same problems. Talked to ONSTAR, they told me "exhaust emissions" problem, won't or can't give the actual code #. Disconnecting the battery for 1/2 hour or longer clears the code for as long as a tank of gas or as short a time as 50 miles. the CEL seems to come on faster at night when the headlights are on, might be a resistance/voltage problem with the O2 sensors. (maybe from the wire harness extensions?)
If you find a solution please post it, from reading other posts on this Forum we're not alone.
What bothers me most is the "new" Texas inspections, if a code shows, you fail! Looks like we have to go back to stock for an inspection. I'm glad I kept my old exhaust parts (but will have to buy a new radiator shroud).
