Yes, at least initially. Then once you get the feel for what you want the car to do you can adjust F/R pressure from there. I find that 29 in back and 30 in front cold PSI works very well for me on the stock tires...

My S2000 was an '01.
It really depends on the course and your driving style..It slaloms/offset gates very well...Much,much better than I thought it would. Slow tight corners are a little tough because you have to be so much more careful than in the S2000.And my driving style seems to make it understeer a bit on turn-in in the tighter corners , you can just throttle out of the understeer but, give it to much gas and you will get terminal oversteer. In the S you can usually just put your foot down.. In the C6 with all the torque you have to be much smoother with your throttle input at low speeds. I am still a little slower than I was in my S about 2 sec.I think the difference is all about the seat time and experience with the car. The S2000 communicates much better. With the Corvette just believe it will stick, throw it in there and it usually flys through without much drama or effort. The acceleration and braking are awesome and you can use it to make up alot of time.I was regularly doing 15-20 mph faster in the C6 on the open sections than I did in my S2000, the vette is just so much faster. Just when you think you are ready to brake for a turn wait another 1/2 sec. The brakes work extremely well. Just remember to have fun that is what is most important. I have no doubt it will be one of the fastest cars on course as soon as the driver gets more comfortable with it.
I'm from Dallas.
Sounds like what I expected. I had just gotten smooth in the S and was winning the BSP class locally. I was typically running at least 2 seconds faster than Vettes. I know the Vette is designed for much "bigger" things than autocross, but it's still a lot of fun without spending hundreds on track days that often! Nice to meet you.
