My car was checked (but not changed) on 6-3-05.

LF = 850#
RF = 898#
LR = 749#
RR = 754#

50.7% Front, 49.3% Rear With aprx 3 gallons of gas and estimated 15# of misc. junk (tools, books, etc.). Aprx. 3218# net curb weight (no gas)for a Z51 with all options.

Interesting point; the F/R balance was the same with my 170#'s in the car.

Probably sets up the weight distribution of the "average sized" driver...

But very close to balanced with me in the car; 901 LF & 914 RF. my 170# added 51#'s to the LF and only 16#'s to the RF. Maybe if I gained weight it would balance perfect?

Just a note: You should corner weight your car with your weight sitting in the drivers seat, 1/2 tank of gas, and the tires at hot pressures (typically 40 PSI), and the alignment set to where you will be tracking the car.

I don't track the car so my corner weighting was done as part of my alignment just for my curiosity. Since my car is a daily driver I weighed it at 30#'s tire pressure and weighed it both with and without me in the seat just to see what the change would be. Corner weighting is for front to rear and side to side balance; Since our gas tanks are pretty much centered left to right and front to back I wasn't worried about the balance changing with the amount of gas.

The 1/2 tank is debatable...sprints will not get you down to a half tank...
