I guess I am the loner here. I say Nitrous without a doubt
Yes a cam creates power all the time, it also is harder on valvetrain and other parts all the time.
I agree. Nitrous only puts stress on the engine when you spray, other hop up methods, blowers, cams, long tube headers, "high flow" or no cats, etc can't be shut off when you don't need the extra power. So with them you are always operating outside stock engine parameters. Idle quality suffers, part throttle response suffers, emissions increase, etc. But with nitrous, you can have a totally stock engine with good idle, good part throttle response, good MPG, and good emissions, until you hit the button.
As long as you don't get carried away by power greed, nitrous isn't any harder on the engine than any other hop up method delivering similar power. Plus, its like it isn't there at all when you don't hit the button.
IN response to your question.I personaly would add a 150 hp nitrous kit and drag radials.........WOW....the cam changeto be effective then needs heads or at least head work $$$$$$.and other mods..the NOS is a rush .and you can remove it if you're not happy with it........LOL

Andy at A&A corvettes mods the F.A.S.T. intake so you don't have to cut the firewall and reglass it. Both he and Ed Potter at LPE say it's worth 20-25 HP. Will see.
