Default A4 which gear?

Ok I am going with the DTE stage II but not sure of gear. I have LG Headers, intake, GM cat back. I will either S/C or head and cam. Doubt the car will every see the track so gear idea's please? I have Z-51 as well. 3.42 3.73 or 4.10? Thanks in advance.

I have a procharger with magnaflow exhaust system (503 RWHP)and stock 2.72's for now. It's a blast but looking into the 3.73's. I think 3.90 and 4.10 are just a bit too much. I drive my car everyday (19,000 miles) and like too get on it from light to light. I think these are the gears for me.

I am changing my A4 to 3.42 gears. With the change I did to 305/30/19 PS2's on the rear the current ratio changed to 3.23, so with the 3.42 gear set the effective ratio will be 3.50, I don't want to give up anymore RPM's in day to day driving.

All things equal, you are saying a different tire size will move you from 315 to 323. So in theory, you will pick up a half a tenth, maybe more??? Do they sit on the factory wheels ok?

They are not mounted on stock wheels, they are on 11" ZO6 rears.

The effective ratio change is due to a smaller circumference on the 305/30's compaired to the 295/35's.

This may be unpopular opinion but if you are not going to track it I would leave in the stock rear end.
