I need someones help. i just had the Dynatech Supermaxx headers installed with the Corsa Sport exhaust. My check engine light came on as soon as I started it. Rechecked all the connections, went to dealer had error cleared and soon as I went WOT it came on again. There were 3 codes that the computer put out, all post cat drivers side. Has anyone had this problem? Anybody know a fix. I just spent $3,000 and now I'm riding around with a check engine light on in a $65,000 car. By the way it is a C6 A4 Vert K&N.waiting on the LP induction. I hope someone can help..........
The error is a post cat drivers side 02 sensor error. 3 of them
There is your answer. You have narrowed it down. Look into that particular 02 sensors and the wirings for connections, maybe the extention itself or the connection plugs.
You can avoid the dealership reading your codes (and help to preserve your warranty) but getting an Innova 3030 code reader from Wal-Mart. I just purchased one, read my CEL code and turned it off. Best $68 I've spent.

Does C6 use the OBD II? Where is the port in the car to hook up the Innova?
Not a "C6" only problem. O2 simulators have sold for years for nearly every make and model. Good to know it's not a c6 only problem, but now,if i want headers i will also need to reprogram the computer??even though i may not want to...?

Not for sure about the C6 but, most C5's with the Dyna's needs the 02 simulators. That could be it.

Jeez you guys.
You only need O2 sims if you don't have cats.
If they did not relocate millenium's cats and simply removed them then he needs to have sims put in in place of the stock O2 sims. If they removed the cats and put sims in then he's got an electrical (wire or connections) problem, or a bad sim.
If he still has his cats and is getting the codes, either his sensors are damaged or he has a bad wire/connection.
