Default Callaway

Does anyone have any experience with their honker and thier DD exhaust? How does the exhaust sound? (i.e. loud like bullets? balanced like corsa's? quiet like stock?) And how well does your car respond to the honker? thanks.

I have both, professionally installed by Callaway in CT. The exhaust sounds fantastic, not too loud, no drone and looks quite unique. The "Honker" has to be as good as and probably better than other "Bottom feeders". It looks like a stock piece, includes extented high flow coupler, and relocates the MAF for better response. If you like the looks, go for it!

While the exhaust note will certainly "bark" and growl when you floor it, driving it around town, excessive noise is not an issue - neither is resonance.

My wife in fact fell asleap withn an hour on a (long) trip in a Callaway "DD" equipped C6 - Saying that is a big deal

Default Honker Intake for C6 - Very Good Add-on for the C6

I bought this Intake due to a Recomendation from Tony @ Tony's Corvette Shop. I could not be more happy with a add on. You can really feel the increase in power, toruqe and trottle response. The Engine even sounds alittle bit more aggresive.

As stated above it looks very professional and stock whith I like alot....Treat yourelf and have a good shop install it for you and you will be very happy.

Be prepared for 4+ hours of work and cutting the front plastic engine shield for the honker. Pick a warm day so that the plastic is flexable. All in all it looks great and sounds excellent. Slight performance improvement hardly noticable. I wish that there was some way to get the Double D to Germany via US mail!
