I used Amsoil in my C5 tranny and diff. Both showed significant improvement. Tranny shifted much smoother and diff was much quieter especially when turning a sharp corner at slow speeds. Haven't used in my C6 as none of the complaints are noticed.

The Tremec in the Vette takes a Dexron III ATF fluid. If you get Mobil 1, you should get the Dexron III ATF not the manual transmission fluid.
I use and recommend this: AMSOIL ATF

Mobil One ATF works well, and if you're conserned about heat, use a bottle of Pro Blends ATF additive with it. Basically it is "water weter" for your trans. Tremec suggested back in my early C5 racing days, and I've used it ever since.

Was going to sell Mustang GT 5.0 but after putting Redline MTL I didn't
That made alot of difference like night and day. The shifter kept sticking with the regular tranny oil so I went with the more expensive Redline and it couldn't be better so now I can keep it.
