NHRA and IHRA rules are a bar for 11.49 or faster so I'm sure he was trying to get another run in. Car def sounded like a cam car, and I'd bet it's got a jug on it too considering it was on stock looking wheels and pulled a 11.3 @96 on the brakes. I'd bet that's a legit 10.8-10.5 EASY car as it sat on those tires.
ok.it just seems that 96 mph is way to slow to be able to achieve an 11.3 time.
That's the point.
Two Objectives:
1. Stay above 11.49 so you don't get kicked out if you don't have a bar.
2. Don't let people see your real trap because then they will know what your car can really run.
You guys are fixating on the trap way too much. He went an 11.3 ON THE BRAKES. Watch the video, he was hitting the brakes at the 1000' mark or before. By running out the 1/8th he'll know what the car will run, and maybe the one time it hooks he'll make a full pass, but if he made a full pass he'd obviously get kicked out if he doesn't have a bar.
Looks like someone already beat me to it. Was it that hard for any of you to comprehend? I guess in the sheltered lives your leading youve never been to a track?
Just curious. Freaking fast! Braking cuz of stock interior...
Is this a nitrious car or cam?
edit: btw, this was at e-town. (no its not my video)
The 11 sec pass was all motor but he does have spray also, he might have spritzed it a little though. I met the driver, he is one crazy dude too. No really he's nice a nice guy. Top notch work on the car too
